i would appreciate a guide on building a new pc, about 1100 USD preferably, can go up to 1500 if absolutely necessary for important part(s). i dont care about the noise of my box, and onboard sound will be perfectly fine. i want a decent video card (i prefer more classic games nothing fancy ). i want to do some OCing so cooling is a must. i want the best cpu, RAM and mobo possible for the budget. huge hdd unnecessary. id like some info on good high speed ethernet cards-oh and at least one onboard LAN is a must. id rather go the AMD route since i havent before, but im still open to intel. im open to any and all suggestions, please reply!! p.s. not sure if its appropriate for this thread, but myself and others were recently talking about differences between Win XP pro and 2000 pro-mostly about vulnerability and networking-so any opinions on the subject are welcome as well.
