    I need some help!
I used to use DVD2OneX to copy dvd bigger than 4.7 gb, but it was a trial version. Now, i need to find a free program to compress and burn movies.

    ok here is my question

do you want to convert the dvd image to another video format or do you just wan to copy the dvd

    here is why

you need a application called handbrake handbrake will convert the dvd video including folders to mpeg4 dvd quality then you can use dragonburn or any other application to burn dvds to copy the video to dvd

the best way i have found is this way

take handbrake convert the dvd collection into mpeg4 then use idvd or imovie to convert it back to dvd

I'm just going to dis-regard the reply to this OP.
There is no free program for mac to compress dvds. You can try what johnodd4 tried to explain. Tt may just cause you more of a hastle than what it's worth.
