I am looking to get a wireless keyboard and mouse for my computer. The last one I bought from wal-mart was crap and would cut out when it was laying on my bed. I am looking at wireless and the new blue tooth type. Anyone have suggestions on a good wireless/blue tooth keyboard and mouse? I do not have blue tooth on my computer so if I get blue tooth I will have to get the adapter(s) for my computer. Not sure if I will need one or two adapters for my computer.
HEY, I would suggest that u dont get a wireless keyboard and mouse i bought a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse set me back $125 still cuts out still. It was like the best keyboard and mouse there aswell
I've been using the MS Elite wireless keyboard and mouse for nearly two years, without a single problem. As long as the receiver is within sight and the batteries are okay then it works as good as any wired keyboard and mouse I've used before, and the ergonomics are great, especially if you have big hands! http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/productdetails.aspx?pid=033
Well, it depends on what kind of mouse/keyboard you want and what you are going to use it for but .... I personally like the MX1000 from logitech. I had previously owned their MX700 and the MX1000 is just another step in the right direction. Only thing I DON'T like about it is that the batteries are now not user replaceable (the MX700 took recharable AAs). Then again, by the time I should need to replace the battery I will probably have worn the mouse out anyway. Keyboards are a little more tricky. IF you like the split key/ergonomic type, you are going to be in a bit of a pickle as far as wireless goes. MOST of them come in a keyboard/mouse pack (not sold alone). I ended up getting the logitech Cordless Comfort Duo again (had owned an earlier version). This one came with a MX600 mouse. Anywho, as before I was able to "hide" the reciever down on the floor and behind my desk and still do not get any delay/cutout of signal. Logitech's new software allows pretty good customization of keys/buttons on the keyboard/mouse. I don't use it myelf as it causes problems in games but for across the room HTPC management I would imagine it would work fine. Hope this helps.
