ok so today in a advert in my mail,i'm paging through what do i see,a laptop with a hd-dvd player...oik all good,then i look at the price $6495!!! and i was like WTF!!!??? the specs on that laptop was like $3000 max,so there charging like $3500 for a hd-dvd...that's just crazy!!!

Well my point in getting Blu-Ray or HD-DVD is that I watch movies constantly and it's the only HD source I will have for now excluding my gaming consoles. Another reason I will be getting one or the other is becuase I want a new PC around the hollidays and I want it to already have HD-DVD or Blu-Ray, or I want the drives to be out when I buy the computer so I can either already have HD-DVD/Blu-Ray built in or can upgrade as soon as I get it and I won't have to worry about upgrading it a month or two after I get it.
