Hi,
I use VirtualDub v1.54 to convert DV file captured from my Sony camcoder to Divx format, and there must be something wrong with the quality. I have tried both Divx 4 Low Motion and Divx 5 codec for video compression, but none of these has helped in quality. It's strange that the output video shown by VirtualDub (when rendering) looks great, but the end-product AVI is not that when played back. It looks no better than simple VCD. Can anyone of you help me, please? Thanks.
