I have a dell inspiron 1300 and something seems to be wrong with the WLAN card. The radio sticks to disabled no matter what i do. I went into the "Dell Wireless WLAN card utility" and the Enable Radio option was unchecked so i checked it and clicked apply and it gives a message saying "The Dell Wireless WLAN Card is still disabled. Slide the Wireless ON/OFF switch to enable it or press Fn-F2 to enable it." Since i dont have a slider, i pressed F2 but nothing seems to be happening. So i went into the Card's properties to check if "disabled upon Wired Connect" option is disabled. It is disabled and the "Radio Enable/Diasble" option is Enabled. Everythin seems to be right but i dont have a clue why the radio is still disabled.
    Please help me out

The button Fn is to be pressed and held then you can press f2. That's what it asked you to do. It should enable it. Then Fn key is probably somewhere along the left side of yuor keyboard.
