I don't know why none don't work. I tried a few different games i got from various sites. I'm sure the chip is installed correctly cause it plays a original jap game i have without any problems and i can c the version of the chip by holding start. I burned the iso's with a Plextor PX-760A and Taiyo Yuden DVD+R(the best media) but i also tried with Ritek DVD-R's and still a no go. I used nero 6 and 7 to burn these disks with no options checked just like all then guides say, all i do is click burn image, find it, and burn it. So somebody please help! so far i fell like just throwing my gamecube out the window ^_^

p.s. i don't know why i post here since the gc community is dead and i can't get a break dealing with this console.

Sounds like you're forgetting to finalize the burn.

You need the full version of Nero 6. Before you start the burn process, there's a box you can check to finalize the burn(no further writing will be possible). By doing this, it closes the last sectors, which is where the Gamecube starts reading from, and gives it a data trail to read along until the actual game data begins.

And it isn't that the Gamecube community is dead, it's that on this particular board, we're getting tired of latecomer n00bs coming in and asking the same 3 questions, 5 times a week. They're called stickies, people! Read them! at the least, read the "Full Guide To Gamecube Backup/Booting" for the first 10 or so pages, then hop to the middle and read a few more pages, then to the end. For the sheer number of responses in that topic, you should be able to find what you're looking for, easily enough.

In that case, it sounds like you did it yourself. You probably didn't fix up the POT. Common mistake.

i tried to adjust my pot. The multimeter read .345 idk if that means if it is 345 ohms but somebody tell me if it is plz. But the reason i couldnt even adjust it was because i wasn't sure what was the adjustment screw. This is the guide i used http://modthatcube.pxn-os.org/content/pot.htm can someone let me kno if the multimeter was reading it right and which one is the adjustment screw? thx in advance
