Ok i've been doing a lot of research on this, i've read all those pdf files and everything on this forum that I could find. I just have some basic questions:

1) Is it possible to flash firmware via one of those usb to sata converters like this one http://www.xbox-scene.com/xbox1data/sep/EEVkllZkAVmpfFOIrH.php

2) I heard on IRC from someone that there is a way to backup your games without having to reflash the dvd drive each time you want to connect it to windows.

3) I've seen people cutting holes in the back of their 360's and running a left angle sata cable to their pc, is this a good method?


Pretty much I want to know the latest info about what options 360 modders have in flashing, and backing up games.
