Sound Card

    I installed a version of windows xp pro on my pc. How do I check which sound card drive I need to download because my sounds not working. Is there one that works for them all?

    There is no generic sound card driver that I know of.If you have a pci slot sound card you would need to know the manufacturer, or if it is onboard sound you will need to know the motherboard manufacturer, Now if it's a store bought pre-assembled unit,in that case we would need the brand name and model number.

    The later being the case,you could go to the manufacturer's website and do a search for the correct driver or just post the info here and we will give you a hand.In any case we need more info.
