    hello
i am recording mpeg 2 video from video tapes before the tapes wear off or detoriate. i get my source from my video player to tv tuner but the mpeg 2 files have unwanted bits on the edges. when i crop using nero recode 2, there is no crop preview where i select what to crop. is there a newer version of recode? i plan to make dvds out of them to preserve the video since they are videos of my childhood.

    thx

For trimming MPEG's two good programs come to mind:

1-Video Redo = It's shareware but easy to use

2-Virtual Dub = Freeware but a little more difficult to use (compared to Redo)
