pixel shader

    [/bold] is pixel shader a video card?????? or is it some thing u can download or some thing??? sould i go get a 400$ computer to play black and white2 like f**K

    A few things:

    A pixel shader is part of a processing unit in a graphics card, essentially a bit that makes the brightness and colouring control of textures. The more you have, the more shading you can do at once, and the better performance you get. Radeon X1900s have three pixel shaders per pipeline, as opposed to one like normal, so they have 48 pixel shaders.

    Second, a $400 Graphics card will play Black and white 2 but not a $400 computer!

    Thirdly, B&W2 is so hardcore, no Graphics card will play it "like f**k" but just quite well! :D
