I think mu hardrive is going to crash. It takes lot of time to boot when I switch it on and there's some kind of strange sound coming out of it. Do you think that the hardrive is crashing? It still works though. How to diagnose it? Can it be fixed by some software? Norton Dick Doctor etc?

If it is really about to crash. I wouldn't like to install everything all over again. is it possible while it still working to make an inage of my harddisk to a new one and then simply redirect the drives that I wouldn't have to install the OS and all other software I have?
