Disabling the Nero filters should work for version 7. Let us know if you have any success.

Have had this prob - on and off, for months. Can't see what might be wrong. The disabling of 2 filters helped a bit, but not enough. How do i turn them back on, please?
was using vision 4 to process a 4.3 GB .mpg file of a film recorded from GB digital TV (Freeview) - this time a big discrepancy!!! any peeps with insights - I would love to here from you (OAP in NE Derbys)

i am having a similar problem, wich is how I googled this thread. I have an .mpg file that is too big for the disc, so Nero offers to compress it automatically for me. I click OK, and let it go (over 4 hours to transcode/burn) and then the disc plays with Audio out of sync. I am using Nero 7. The file plays fine pre-Nero; and I have done it three times, and once as an image, and all the same: out-of-sync. I will try the suggested solution above, try again, and report back. ;-)

nope... still out of sync. only solution to my particular problem seems to be to split the file and put it on 2 DVDs...

reply to brianz57: have you tried using Nero Vision 4to write the .mpg file to a hard disc folder, then using Recode to reduce file size and burning to disc?? It should not take as long as 4 hours to do the job, I'm thinking - beemacdee

I have the same problem using Nero 7.5, but I can't get your suggestion to work.

    I'm running XP and it can't find regsvr32 /u
It does however find the Nero file, but I can't open it or anything.
Sorry, I don't know exactly how to do these advaced things. Any help would be appreciated. thanx

I've had many problems with the sound sync lagging after outputing to dvd using NeroVision.

Seems to be ok though if I output to folder on Hard drive, then use Nero Express to write vobs to DVD video.
