wow ok guys ive never seen this b4 especially on my computer, lately like 2 days ago i noticed after downloading files they are currupt and yesterday every file i downloaded was currupt so i took precautions and ran spyware scan and virus scan and came up with nothing and today well about 2 min after i boot into windows i get blue screen of death wow i wasnt expecting that but anyways id perform a format on it if there wasnt some data on there i needed any ideas on how i can get the dat this is wierd do u think its ram?? im running 1536 mb ddr2 man this sucks any help is appreciated thanks guys
You should first try to boot into safe mode to see if that allows the system to boot up by bypassing normal windows settings and startup programs, get to safe mode by either pressing and holding the "F8 key", or tap the "F8 key" continuously until you get the startup menu. If you do manage, then use the oppotunity to back up any information you need.
What is the error/stop code on the BSOD? That will help identify what the issue is. I very well could be a bad stick o'ram. Run one stick and see how it reacts. Then run the other. See if you can reproduce the problem with one of the sticks and not the other. ~Rich
