having trouble with battlefield vietnam

I purchased the BF 1942 complete collection. I installed BF Vietnam and then I installed the 1.2 patch (lastest patch according to EA's website), but whenever I try to connect to a game online, it says "incorrect version. do you wish to update?". Is there a diffrent patch especialy for the complete collection version? Why cant I connect?

You must have punkbuster enabled or the servers won't let you in.I'm wondering if it's a punkbuster update you need and not a regular patch.

I tried updating punkbuster and makeing sure it was enabled but it still said wrong version.

 

hmmm That's wierd....

I no longer have it installed anymore as I've moved on to other games but I seem to remember this same thing and being really pissed.Not sure what I did to fix it but I eventually did get online with it.I thought it updated automatically but it's been over a year so I don't know.
