hi, i dont really know too much about pc's, but i would like to connect my hi def tv to my pc via a hi def output. my pc is a hp m7270 uk. when i purchased it i was told that the connection would be possible, but 5 months later i have realised that those outputs are not available. i have been told that i can purchase something to connect at the back. any help would be appreciated.

By Hi-Def TV, what exactly is it? Plasma, LCD ??

You should be able to connect provided that the TV has VGA input. If not your video card would determine what other options you have. If you have DVI, s-video etc.

upgrade to a ati 9800 then order a rgb adapter directly from ati and connect that way.

Maybe he doesn't want to upgrade.

wildo2ne, I am not trying to sound rude but this is the second person that you've recommended that option to that I was attempting to help. If they wanted to upgrade computer components, I am sure they would have mentioned it.

I understand but anyone wanting high def is going to have to upgrade something, and the video card is the cheapest option
