Hi. If you have a 2-sided disk, it's called a flipper disk. Here's a guide for doing a flipper disk with DVD Shrink: http://www.mrbass.org/dvdshrink/flipper/ Just be sure to set the target DVD size to DVD9: [bold]Edit menu > Preferences > Preferences tab > Target DVD Size menu > DVD9[/bold] Follow the above guide to reauthor the DVD to get both sides onto a single-sided DVD9. After clicking the Backup! icon, select as the Target output: "create an iso image file". Burned the ISO file created by DVD Shrink with either ImgBurn or DVD Decrypter as they are the best DL disk burning programs imo. http://www.imgburn.com http://www.filehippo.com/download_dvd_decrypter/
Each time try to flip disk over to side 2 I get msg. that file will be deleted. I'm using v3.2 of shrink. Any suggestions?
Hello again. You need to rip/copy each side of the disk to your hard disk drive first before trying to use Shrink in reauthor mode to join the two sides to a single ISO. I have no idea whether the disk you have is copy protected or not or what kind of protection. If you're using AnyDVD, you'll be OK. This is what you need to do. We'll be using DVD Decrypter (also free). http://www.filehippo.com/download_dvd_decrypter/ Open DVD Decrypter and under the Mode menu select ISO Read. Rip side 1 to your HDD. Flip the disk and rip side 2 to your HDD. Quit DVD Decrypter. Open DVD Shrink. Under the File menu select Open image file and open the ISO for side 1 Click the Reauthor Icon. Drag the main title from the righthand window to the lefthand window. Click the Full Disk icon. Under the File menu select Open image file and open the side 2 ISO you ripped to your HDD. Click the Reauthor icon. Drag the main title from the righthand side to the lefthand side. The lefthand side should now have the main titles from the two ISOs listed. If you want extras or other things you can drag them over but without remenuing with a reauthoring program, everything plays sequentially. Click the backup button to create a new ISO/DVD with both titles on it. If you want to put both sides onto a single DVD and keep everything including the menus from both, you'll need to use a program like DVD Remake to do so: http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremake/index.php
