burning games for pc

    im not new to burning software but i am new at burning games im trying to burn sims2 for the pc what program should i use to do this and would it be ok to burn to a cd-r

    It would actually be best to post this in one of the many burning sections here.

    As far as cd-r it depends on the file and how big it is.Most games these days should be burned to dvd because it would take to many cd-r's to complete the task.I would use alcohol %120 or slysoft's any dvd/clone dvd combo.

    DVD dycrypter is free and in many cases does a fine job.There are also other free porgrams.

    youll want to make and burn the image using either alcohol 120 or dvd dycrcpter (I use Alcohol). Also youll want a free program called Aray-Scanner. You put the disk in the drive and Aray scanner will tell you what kind of protection there is. You need to know this so you can select it from the drop down menu when making the image.
