I`m sorry for asking such an old question. But it`s been so long since I`ve made one, I forgot. The babe nextdoor needs one. She has windows 98, I have windows xp pro. Can someone help me out? This could realy help me out. Vlad

if her windows is working alright than goto control panel\add-remove programs\startup disk. will ask for a format 1.4meg floppy & possibly win98 cd to copy files from onto floppy.
If you just need a basic boot disk with no tools, from a command prompt, type 'format A: /s' This will tranfer the system files (io.sys, msdos.sys, and command.com) to the floppy. It will boot you to a dos prompt. ~Rich
