i would like picture 1 as my "border", and then picture 2 would be an animated gif image. i also want it this kindof a4 shape? anyone know the html to do something like this please? i would be SO greatful!

That isnt really a border, its more of a background - try <body background=picture1.jpg>. And the picture in the middle - nest that in the center of a table using <img src=picture2.gif>. Why A4 shape - neither your TV or your monitor is? This is really simple HTML stuff, seriously, try googling it.
