I know there has been discussion on the USB cable and phones,but I don't think they answered my problem.I have the Samsung SPH-a740 cell phone and I bought a USB cable for it but when I found USB drivers for my computer to make my computer recognize the phone,it says the drivers I added is a modem driver(It did say USB Cable Drivers when I downloaded it) Is there anyone who would be able to help me with this problem? yes i did.I downloaded the driver: http://support.susteen.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=2623 and then I downloaded BitPim: http://www.bitpim.org/#download Install BitPim then start the program up,then plug in your phone with the data cable.
Thanks for the help it works. It bitpim is not fully functional on this phone but at least I can up date the contacts and get my pictures off onto the PC. I heard that pc-sync works well but I haven't found it yet to try. Thanks again dbenn
