Hello I have 3 DVDs with short home movies on them, about 35 minutes on each. I want to combine them together and put them onto 1 single DVD-R, what is the software that will allow me to do this?

P.S. I have tried VobEdit and IFOEdit, didn't work and was very confusing.

There are several programs that can accomplish this task for you. A few that come to mind are DVD Shrink, Nero Vision, Nero Recode, or DVD Remake. I personally recommend using DVD Remake then running the files through DVD-RB if the resulting Remake files are larger than a DVD-5. Here are a couple of guides to help you along:

DVD Shrink (same method can be used if you are using Nero Recode):

DVD Remake (not a free program, but if you do this sort of thing a lot, a great program that is well worth the money):

note: DVD Remake will also let you retain all original menues for each DVD.

Hope this helps get you pointed in the right direction :)

Isecond ebega's recommendation. Remake is excellent for combining discs/folders.

I need help with VOBedit as well. When I try to join the files together, it does nothing? This is after I open the first VOB in my list of sequential VOB's (as the direction say), then click on join files. I have read somewhere where it may not work with Windows XP, but I could not verify this, so it seems that it is just rumors? Is this in fact my problem? If so, do I have to DL a codec or udpate? Thanks!

I found out my problem. I had the extension ".vob" after the file name, but the extensions were in hide extension mode, so it was like "VTS_01_1.vob.vob." Silly me! Will TMPGEnc_DVD_Author allow me to split VOB's in half, or can I do that with VOBedit? Thanks!
