Hello everyone. Apologies if this is dealt with elsewhere - I realise there are lots of similar threads already but none seem to be quite applicable.

I had the Myzor thing and managed to eliminate it by using SmitfraudFix as recommended by you guys on these forums - thanks for that.

Everything seems to be running ok now but my homepage is always redirected to MSN. Is this sinister?

(Also, I dont know if it's relevant but I recently changed from MacAfee to Avast/Zonealarm - there seem to be a few relics from MacAfee still hanging around)

    THis is the Hijackthis log:

    1) Run Spybot-S&D
    2) Go to the Mode menu, and make sure "Advanced Mode" is selected
    3) On the left hand side, choose Tools -> Resident
    4) Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts
    5) Restart your computer.

rescan and check this, click fix checked

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Connection Wizard,ShellNext = "C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe"

turn spybots tea timer back on then if you like

    see if that helps

    Un-install ZoneAlarm.
Change your homepage to what you want...
    Reboot
    Re-install ZoneAlarm
