No, there isn't, though you can make a Pandora Battery without a PSP with 1.50/CFW by hard-modding the battery.
the hard modding of battery is only for slim r8??
It's both, the battery "configuration" doesn't change for any of the unbrickers.

that'd be trouble-some too lol. plus i already have an extra battery that i bought just to get someone to make it pandora for me.. but he couldnt.. so hard modding is my only choice.
if anyone has any guides or links with detailed instructions please tell me :d

i getting a black screen after i insert the memory card and, take out power card and put pandora battery in. Any ideas please?
#936 10 Nov 2007 @ 0:36
Make sure your "magic" memory stick is inserted first, then pop in your battery...Another thing to try is pressing the brightness button (next to the musical note button) to see if the screen lights up-If all else fails, remake your memory stick-You are probably missing something that needs to be on there in order for it to work.

I am trying to create a pandora battery but when I tried to copy the files over, I only have the Pandora battery creator and the pandora's battery firm installer files. The other files doesn't appear on my memory stick. I can't run the program either. Can someone help me out with this?
#938 10 Nov 2007 @ 6:29
hello! i am a noob as a noob could be - regarding pitch black screens - why not hold down the L before replacing pandora's batt? that should make the memcard LED blink. nobody mentioned it but if you already are doing that then i do not know anymore.
#939 10 Nov 2007 @ 9:09
Thank you I will give it a try and report.
#940 10 Nov 2007 @ 10:28
Ok, I tried but both failed.

I first tried formatting ms with windows explorer. now i will use the method in the guide.

where is "mspformat.exe" I don't see that file in the easy installer. Plus im getting two corrupted files with 2 working files (Pandora battery/firmware installer)

The guide is not 100%clear to me

Thanks

Make sure your cfw is set to 'No UMD' if it still fails, change around the kernel, this should help.

yES, i used "Igizmore" guide and it worked flawlessly. This easy installer form Touran et. al was good and I thank them for their work, but there was alot of infoprmation missing from the guide itself. I hope they can imrpove the guide to help all. BUT THANKS IGIZMORE YOUR GUIDE WAS SUPER EASY

Complete noob question, but I formatted the mem stick and put the easy installer files in it, I hard modded the batt., but when I put them into the psp the screen stays black and the L and screen brightness buttons don't do a thing! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Erm, have you actually run the programs on your PSP or just put them there?

To anyone who is getting a black screen, when putting the pandora's battery and memstick into the bricked psp or psp you would like to downgrade, this is the exact same problem I had before. The answer which helped fix my problem-

'i think you forgot to "update" the 1.5 kernel add on 2 or you did that wrong,, what i did is i downgrade again my old 3.71m33-2 and update to 3.71m33-2 again with the correct kernel 1.5 add on 2.'

So I reflashed my main PSP again, using this guide which also includes great detailed steps on doing the updates etc etc.

Just read CAREFULLY!

Also, the IPL was messed up or something when I came to doing the Pandoras battery & memstick. So i basically followed afew of these main steps from this tutorial, but used the easy installer which done the IPL for me.

I know this probly sounds really un-understandable, but if you need me to clear up anything, just let me know.

Havent been into this PSP 'Scene' for long, but im just trying to help out as for i've had the black screen problem myself before & I know how annoying it is being unable to solve it! haha.

Hey guys, igto through the downgrade fine. However, i was not able to restore my batties backup, and used the fake id instead. Is there any bad sideaffects that have been heard of as of late? I was woried to use this fake id, but i needed my battery back and gave up on trying to restore my back up. I still have my back up file though incase someone can tell me wht i did wrong.
