I turned on my laptop today, and the screen is tinted yellow-green, and text and images are unreadable. You can see everything, but nothing's clear, and everythings tinted. To narrow things down, I plugged the laptop into my desktop PC moniter, and the display there was pristine. So I think that rules out the video card. What else can I do to find the problem? I'm guessing there's either something wrong with the lcd itself, or maybe a problem in the BIOS. But I honestly have no idea.

How old is the lappy? My guess is that the ribbon cable from the vid card/mobo is damaged. It usually runs behind one of the hinges of the LCD and over time, they can break. Or, the LCD display itself could be bad. Sorry I couldnt be too specific here...maybe someone else has experienced this and will chime in. At least I gave you something to think about.
