I got a new case and I am getting ready to put it together. There is not window on this case so I won't be able to see the dust build up. I am thinking about getting some fan filters for my 120mm intakes. There are two main types of filters that I have seen.

    1. Aluminum mesh grill filter - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811999213
These seem to let more air flow, but I would think they would allow more dust into the computer as well. (I know this is a link to 80mm)

    2. "Foam-type" Air fliter - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811999208
These would seem to block the most dust, but they will probably restrict air flow more than the mesh type.

What kind of filters does everyone use? Has anyone tried both and which did you like better? Anyone have any other recommendations for filtration?

My dist filter is basically a load of small holes in the plastic, and that works surprisingly well, the inside of my case isn't spotless, but six weeks on, there's only a very light sprinkling on my case floor and a healthy carpet starting to appear on the outside of the fan.
