does anyone know how to switch your computer from drive C to drive E and can you please tell me how if you do know how thanks
well i can tell u how to do it but if your c drive is your main drive with windows on u ccant change the driver letter P.S y do u want to change it
i want to change it cause my c drive out of space and my e drive has nothing on it so it has tons of free space
If they are both the same size then just save everything on yuor other hard drive. If your drive E is bigger in size than you might want to use something like Norton Ghost to make an image of your current hard drive and transfer it to the other one.
What is drive E ?? is it a partition on the one hdd or do you have two physical hdd's in their own bays If you have partitioned a single hdd you have two options you can either redistribute the free space of E and give it to C to make C drive larger or move any data from c drive to E and use E as data storage only If E drive is a larger hdd and by quite a margin just ghost the main drive to it and use the original hdd as backup in case of virus or such like For cloning disks go here http://radified.com/cgi-bin/YaBB/YaBB.cgi
