just wandering if the knowledgable folks of afterdawn could help me out with a couple things...

1) i think i was scammed on ebay, the seller had a really good feedback, spanning over a year but my 360 has not been recieved after two weeks and i've emailed him multiple times requesting a explanation or tracking number but have got no response. I tried looking up his number or address and things on white page search engines with no match but US Search came up with the name and had the correct city which i had not entered... is there another way to get the results from US Search free, too steep for me.

2) i connect to a wireless router using a wireless network card in my PC, its a netgear. ocasionally i will randomly lose internet connectivity. it still shows me as being connected and all is well but nothing will work, i have to disable the card then re-enable so it will connect again, then all is well.
how do i make it stop randomly losing connectivity!! very annoying, especially when a long download stops soon after i leave or go to sleep

If you paid by paypal then contact paypal via email.What's your feedback score?

Also open up a paypal dispute with him and an ebay dispute with him.Lets see this punk dodge that!

Oh sorry your wifi yeah.You need to be in better range of the router.Some card are weak but you can buy a signal booster if needed.

alright i did the disputes, depending on something with paypal they may not be able to get the full refund if he's got it out already, just $200 worth, still its a start, i'll know the full details by the 28th.

for the wifi i can't improve the distance any. its wierd tho sometimes itll go all night and day without me having to do that sometimes a couple hours.. but can i buy a booster for the recieving end? i think i saw something where some guys made a satelite dish type thing out of a USB reciever and a strainer and pointed it in the routers direction for a significantly better signal.. i've got a netgear pci card tho so im not sure what i could do to improve signal

Hmmmmm your right that's a hard one.You probably know this but always use windows to configure your connection as seen here

As for the ebay thing I hope it turns out ok,Remember they will pressure him and hold his account and MAKE him provide proof that he shipped the item(tracking number).You can give him negative feedback(but remember he can do the same) as well and the ebay dispute will put a blemish on his record with ebay.To many of these blemishes and he's gone from ebay.

It sucks I do ebay alot and I would never do that to a customer and always provide a tracking number via email once the product is shipped.If you don't have much of a feedback score then he's trying to bully you.They get away with it because many people let it go and don't report it.Don't let this scumbag pull that load LOL.

it depends if your isp is compatible with netgear such as aol is compatible with netgear but not belkin.who is your isp?

oh and as for paypal you iwll definately win.you cant lose if your the buyer.my mum posted somethign to canada and supposedly got lost and my mum provided tracking informtaion,scanned in the receipt and everythign and still lost.so to gte the money back my mum said she didnt get a dvd, when she did gte it so she filled a dispute the guy provided everything on his end but still lost.im telling you its easy money.also did the perosn have a confirmed address if so you are covered but if not then its a bit harder but youll still win.
