There is a way to get your mp3s playable on the a930.

The trick, it seems, is since the phone plays things with Micro$ofts Media Player, is to get then synced in with Media Player 10. Another alternative is to convert them into a form that can be placed on the flash memory card and recognized by the phone:

(for the a950 but probably works for the a930 as well)
    Advanced Ringtones for Samsung a950.

This guide is written expecting a certain amount of proficiency with audio formats and general computer usage. If you have a basic understanding of Audio formats/codecs, Audio containers, and can rename a file extension, you should be alright. Also this is assuming you own a transflash card, and know how to use it. If you are relying on PixPlace or emailing the ringtone to your phone, you will have to settle for a slightly worse sounding file, however it is still possible to do.

Alright, for those of you who are above proficient in the matters at hand, I will give you a quick overview and send you on your way.

Mp3 -> Wav -> Mp3 Encoded Wav -> Rename to *.mid -> My Sounds Folder -> Transfer to Phone -> Bling Bling

(do a search on Google to find the full article, I didn't remember to copy the URL when I saved the instructions to a txt file -sorry)
