Hey guys Im thinking for connecting my computer to my hdtv using dvi as I have a few hd movies on my comp so want to use it as a media centre to play my movies etc.... was looking at the Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Elite Pro as it has 7.1 sound but am not sure what speakers to get do I have to get a set up just for pc of can I buy any speakes I like how would I connect them is the card good enough for my home cinema will I be able to hook up sky to the pc for the 7.1 sound all would it be done another way any idea suggestions would be greatful thx.
if you get a sound card with digital out (either coax or optical) you can just run that cable into a standard home theatre reciever with those inputs, setup the sound card for digital out and your set.
