do you know a dvd burner that supports both booktyping and lightscribe?
i need booktyping to make my dvds more compatable since the only dvd player i have is a ps2 and i really want lightscribe. Do you know quality burners that do both, don't care if its external or internal. \
    Thanks

That would be my choice too. Cheap, reliable and one of the best Burners out there.

That one will do too. I think the only thing it cant't handle is DVD-RAM.

I typed in "how do i know which dvd burner i have" this seemed to be the most logical thread.

there used to be a program that was either freeware or shareware that allowed you to see what was on your computer.

    help

If you have Nero go to the Nero Info Tool and it will tell you what you have. If you have DVD Decrypter go to the tools tab/drive and then capabilities. You can also use DVDInfo Pro, it is free if you get the advert version.
