I recently got hold of what ithink is a dev console.
Its a turqoise gc with a swith with usa on one side and japan on the other. I'm 90% sure that it came from a developer that has since closed down.
Is there an easy way to see if backups of my games will work on it? And am i right in thinking that if i burn a backup to a standard dvd but phisiccally cut it down it will run? or will those mini dvds (gc disc sized) be what i need?

    any info would be great

    thanks alot

Sounds like it's just a region modded gamecube.

Gamecube dev kits are a computer-tower looking device and a gamecube device which has a huge cartiridge slot stuck on top instead of a dvd bit.
Edit, there are also some that don't have the cartridge slot, but do not have the dvd drive either.

How about posting a picture of your gamecube?

Yeah, thats just a simple region mod, not bad for £5 though.
