i got the x800xt aiw today not happy Help plz

    hi i just got today my x800xt aiw and my power supply 600w and i instaled them into my pc and downloaded the latest drivers and update for the videocard and windows and i am not happy with the results cuz on my old 9600xt 256 i got the same graghics and even in bf2 it even looks beter on the 9600xt and on the x800xt it lags alot
    not that amazing graghics so is there any thing i can do to improve my videocard i have been waiting fo it for too long
    help plz

    its not laging any more but its the same graghics as the 9600xt

    the latest ones from ati website i think 6.8

    the got only from 6.1 to 6.3
    and if i downloaded a custom driver will i see any improvment
