   I ripped a dvd to an avi and the resoltion size was 640 x 272 according to virtualdub. Now when I try to convert it to mpeg using tmpgen it will not convert to this ratio. I tried to manually enter the screen size but it will not convert to this size. Any suggestions? Thanks

   They are multiples of 8 but are you trying to create vcd/svcd or something??
