Hi all, I have edited (cut) some VOB files using VideoRedo and when I use authoring programs they give an error message that some GOP's are open and faults may occur during the authoring process. What are open GOP's and how can I prevent them from occurring?
every MPEG i've authored has had the open GOP warning, and none have ever had any problems, they've all authored and played perfectly. apparently they result in a higher picture quality. if you really want to close them, there is probably an advanced option menu in whatever program you use to create the VOBs/MPEGs with the option to close them.
