ok so..i have two computers and i tried installing the sims 2 on both of them. on the first computer, after i put the second disk in, it just stops on 23% and doesn't go any further. on my other computer, i got to install it but then i was having problems with the directx 9.0c graphics adapter or whatever. i have intel(r) 82865g graphics controller if that helps. (on the first computer it told me that the direct3d functionality is not available - i don't know how to change that, i guess that could be a problem) -on the second computer, i fixed the problem with the directx 9.0c graphics controller adapter. i played the game fine. then, the next day i went to play again and that same problem came up again. *edit by Jannejt* <-- please e-mail me if you can help (it would be appreciated if you could speak to me in idiot terms because i'm horrible with computers thanks ) PLEASE help me. thank you
First your not allowed to post email addresses so edit that out. Second if the direct3d function is the problem then open the DirectX diagonostic tool and do all the test to make sure its working fine. Third if you can't get it to install on one computer try cleaning the disc? It should work unless you've damaged it seen as you managed to get it on another computer
