Is it possible to have PC2100 and Pc 2700 ram in the same motherboard? For example, I have a stick of 512 mb pc2700 on my computer. Then can i add some pc2100 memory sticks that i have in my older computer to my newer computer?

You can do it but they will run at the slower speed.

That's correct. Assuming of course they're compatible. It's best to stick to the same make. Most combinations work but not all so watch out.

I checked the specifications for my motherboard and it said that it does support pc2100. But if i try putting the pc2700 and pc2100 in my motherboard, and if it doesn't work, will it damage anything?

It shouldn't. If there is a compatability problem it may not boot.
