has anyone ever got this message before

    "Connetion refused when attempting contact login.yahoo.com" I hook my labtop to the house internet in my home and i can't get to my email or anyother for that matter.Hotmail etc. Turned off fire walls I think but you never know with symantec. Help!!!!!!!!! how can I check my replies lol.

    check to see if windows recognises that it is connected eg in the bottom hand corner it should say like connected to lan at 100MBPS

    Turns out it was Norton Security 2005. Will someone please sue them and put them out of business.
