O.K. I'm not to great at this computer stuff and am having a real hard time with this. I purchased F.E.A.R. and get the "Emulator detected .. Please deactivate virtual drive and emulation software" I don't even know what a virtual drive is let alone how to deactivate it. I do have Nero 7 Ultra edition, AnyDVD, DVDshrink. Someone told me to download SR7Stop, which I did and still nothing. Then was told to download SecureRom 7 burner loader. which also didn't work. Unless I'm running them wrong? THEN was told to disable the Nero Imagedrive which I have no idea how to do ! I just want to play the damn game that I payed $40 bucks for !! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated !!!
I wouldn't use a no cd crack. Then you can't update the game and if you do you have to go fine a new crack. Not worth it. Check for anything like clone dvd, deamon tools, alcohol 120%, cure rom. I don't think nero would do it. Any DVD might. I would try uninstalling nero and any dvd then try loading the game to see if it works.
