Hey everyone how are you doing today? I'm having a problem reading DVD-R on my burner. I've backed up information on several DVD-R's, and I checked them all and they all worked fine. Then earlier this week I put one of them in and it's not displaying anything at all, there aren't any scratches or anything. Most of the other disk will still open perfectly fine, but 2 of them won't. Just to make sure that the disk wasn't bad, I put it in my DVD player and everything played and I could see the files on the player, but it won't do anything on the computer i'm on. Also when I burn regular CDR's, I get an error right at the end saying Could not perform fixation or something. Here is the info on the burner i'm using. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!! Device Type: DVD/CD-Rom Vendor ID: PIONEER Product ID: DVD-RW DVR-104 Product Rev: 4.20 Vendor Info: 03/05/26 PIONEER

Update Nero from here, both packages http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe Package 2 http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe Not the best discs, I use Verbatims According to the log you are burning a CD...try a faster speed
Thanks, well the CD burning is another problem, but the main one is that I can't access a DVD that I already burned files on. Firmware is updated, it plays on a DVD player, maybe I should try to find someone else with a DVD rom.
