Ok well first you need to turn on your Xbox and go to your modded dash. Pop in Halo 2 without it booting. FTP to your Xbox and go into the D:\ drive Those are the Halo 2 files, copy them into a folder on your desktop. If you have a retail Xbox harddrive only copy the multiplayer maps, the shared.map, and the mainmenu.map Then go into your E:\ folder and there should be a games folder in there, go into it Then inside there make a new folder called "Halo 2" and then copy all the Halo 2 files from your desktop to the E:\Games\Halo 2 folder After you have done that, reboot, and see if it works. If you get the "Your disk may be dirty or damaged" message then go back to your modded dash, FTP to it, and then go back into the E:\Games\Halo 2 folder and delete the whole "bink" folder in there and reboot. Congrats you have Halo 2 on your harddrive!
Thats what i thought. I have the software etc to make a modded halo 2 disc but my xbox has a samsung 605f drive. Do you rekon i can flash it with the 605b firmeware to allow it to play backups ? cheers.
when i look at games it says its not there so i dunno cause when i look in my e file games section its there but when i look on my dash its not there sooooo
i now have found the firmware for the 605f. Do i flash the drive the same as if i were flashing the 605b?
