Are there any emluators that can emu 9x with 3d? there are a few games I'd love to paly but I hate dual booting and al that. Microsoft makes a virtual machine program but it didnt support 3d 0-o
Which games are you wanting to try? I have been able to play many old games using VDMSound or a Glide Wrapper such as Open Glide or psVoodoo.
Xian wrappers help with some games but some run on win9x DX ,and uses DX as its hardware accleartor,find me soemthing that can run soemthing like MEch warroir 2 merc in DX win9x mode and most other early DX games can run to :3
Yea, MW2:Mercenaries is a tough one to run in Windows mode, though the DOS version works ok if you use VDMSound and nolfb.com. I hadn't tried it with VMWare, I know that supports DirectX, but not sure if it is 100%. I keep an old Pentium and 486 around for playing older games, though all but a few I have managed to get working in XP. Silver was an old console style RPG for 95 that I never managed to get working in XP.

@ ZippyDiSM download a freeware emulator called QEMU, use a 9x install cd and install it virtually in there, boot it up and then use it since its 9x it shouldnt run too slowly. you see that is the only problem with running virtual machines, there is usually a lossin severe performace accompanied.
