DVD Drive

    I just got a computer from this guy who works this buisness it doesnt have any box and I was wondering how to tell if theirs a dvd drive on it . Im not even sure if theirs a cd drive because it wont open

    Go to www.belarc.com and try the "Belarc Advisor" on that machine. It's pretty good at telling you what's installed. You can Google the drive name if it's not obvious.

    Open up 'My Computer' and you'll see it, if it's installed.

    pop in a dvd and see if ur computer reads it if it doed u got a dvd rom..and mabey u need a new cd drive
