I was wondering if someone can help me out. this is about connecting my crappie laptop to my big screen tv. i have read so many guides on laptop to tv, but have not be successful.

    I have a Sony VAIO FS742/W Laptop which has a Intel GMA 900 Graphics Card, 3x Hi-Speed USB - 4 pin USB Type A, and 1 x display / video - VGA - 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15)

I have 60 inch Hitachi TV with S-Video, Composite videoRCA cables and Y-Pr-Pb slots
I want to play games and watch movies on my big screen tv from my laptop.

Can someone PLEASE HELP ME out!! what do i need to buy, in order for me to do this!! THANX

If you just have the VGA output for you video card your going to have to buy a device that will convert that to s-video or composite to display on your tv.

I think now a days they also have devices that you can plug in to your USB ports but I not sure on that.

Check out the Avermedia Averkey LITE- plug n' play, I got mine yesterday and it works like a dream for movies etc. Just keep in mind these converters are no good for reading small text etc.

You'll love it, just remember that "plug n' play" isn't part of the name LOL ;)
