hi i've got this problem that slows down my computer after about an hour after logging on.

I think it has something to do with my new sound card xfi soundblaster extreme music software.

what happens is that the computer slows down and when i shut down a message says when closing (end program RCLDMWND).

can someone please help me as it is really annoying to put up with a slow computer.

    thanks.

    Here I found this:

Although he/she is killing the process every boot, you can delete the startup with HijackThis if you choose it is safe to do so. If you do choose to kill it permantly make sure you know where the .exe file is incase you need in it in the future.

If you want to delete the startup with HijackThis:

    Run a scan only.
Find the [bold]04[/bold] entry with [bold]dllml.exe[/bold]. Kill only that process.

Hey guys as it turns out i have the same problem with my creative x-fi
soundblaster as above, however when i used hijack this it gave me 2
DLLML.exe that i could choose from, both 04's and both dllml.exe's but
one was 'DLLML.exe"RCSystem*' and the other was
'DLLML.exe"-1AudioDrvEmulator' using hijack this i deleted both of these
one at a time, each time resulting in windows not being able to start up.
    Can you please help, Mike.

    Can you start up now.?

You can restore things by running Hijackthis and clicking View the list of backups.

falcor, reinstall or update your sound cards drivers and reinstall the Soundblaster software.

I've already tried that too, the only

thing thats worked so far is ending the

process as soon as the pc starts, through

Ctrl + Alt + Delete. I dont understand

why I can end the process but not stop it

    from starting up.

Click Start > Run > type msconfig > click OK > click Startup tab. Find [bold]dllml.exe[/bold] and uncheck it.

If that doesn't help, post a HijackThis log.
