i just bought a new hard drive:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144701

the plug in the back is different...

i was told by someone at bestbuy i needed an IDE hard drive...

what is the difference between these two hard drives? will either work?
    I have a pent4, 1.3GHZ, 640MB RAM...

I can see there is a difference in the amount of disk space. but what is the difference between:

IDE Ultra ATA100 Hard Drive - OEM and IDE Ultra ATA133 Hard Drive- OEM

I was leaning towards the seagate. are they both good brands? If there is something else you think would work please feel free to share. I dont need a huge Hard drive. 150 to 200 will do. the 320 is a good price....

    thanks

You better get the sata hard drive couse the speed of transfering data is faster but it all depends of the motherboard you have and the power supply also !
