Hi I have changed my core 2 duo e6400's fan with Big Typhoon, which has three pins, while the cpu fan connector on the motherboard has 4 pins. There are other fan connectors on the mobo which have 3 pins. To which connector should I connect my Big Typhoon? only to the cpu fan or can it be connected to the other ones too?
The CPU fan socket with 4 pins will be a PWM fan connector, which is software controlled. If you have a spare fan port with 3 pins, just use that if it reaches.
