I just downloaded a movie from kazaa, (yeah I know kazaa sucks) it is a divx avi video. I would like to burn this movie to vcd. I have followed instructions posted on this site to no avail. I used vdub then tmpgenc but it only got half the video and no sound. I use nero software for burning. Is there anyway to burn an avi file with other software or could someone please help me, Im desperate. The video works fine on my divx player.

I followed the instructions on this forum.(This is what to do, open the AVI in VirtualDub and do the following!!

    1. click video - direct stream copy
    2. click audio - full processing mode
    3. click audio - compression. select no compression pcm and click ok!
    4. click file - save as avi

    Now try it with TMPGEnc!)
The file is good I watched the movie already and its great quality.

I downloaded the newest version of nero and it changes it and burns it perfectly.

Well dont allow nero to encode!! encode it with something else first because nero often makes shit of the encoding!
