    Hey all,
my games are being blocked with a firewall. I really want to be able to play world of warcraft. WHen i connect, i get about 1 sec then it says i have been disconected from server. I no there are ways around this. Also they cant be able to see it(untrackable). (crazy ideas = ok)

What you need to do is go into your firewall and allow the game and not deny. Go into your firewall settings to change.

I trust you are smart enough to figure this out.

rofl, i worded the question weird so i apologize. I was in a rush, didnt reread. So now i will acaully give you the real(and proly intresting to some) question!!!

Lucky for my credibility, its not that simple, the firewall i am talking about is in the school's server. So i start to connect to the world of warcraft server, and then the school's server cuts me off. Like .5sec to 1sec.

( my computer> school server >world of warcraft servers, (it gets blocked somewhere in the school server)

uhhhh, i think this will explain it better, if it doesnt just say something like "explain with more deatail" or something, w/e we will figure it out. */cheer afterdawn*

I hope this makes this thread acually worth reading :)(instead of some newb who cant figure out how to use firewalls)

I know how to get around firewalls like this for surfing web pages. It probably won't work for games. You also need a home pc with windows xp. Basically it creates a tunnel to your home PC and then your IP on your school pc is changed to your IP at your home. It uses the secure tunnel and encryps the packs that come into the school network. This works for accesing pages blocked where I go like ebay. It also uses the encryption port 443. You can also rig aim to work like this or yahoo messenger but I dont think it will work for games. The games isn't worth the time anyway :) Just my opinion. I'm not sure you will find any luck with that. Probably not.

If you have the time can you explain in higher detail. I have my own cumputer with me, and a computer savy brother at home(although not savy enough to come up with this crazy idea) so i can proly set it up. Besides, setting up a tunnel through there firewall is proly going to be worth it, even if it doesnt work.

Also, any other ideas from other people, got alot of time on my hands on the weekends, willing to try most things ><

and ty alot keithyb for helping me out, i am pathetic. :(
