I am using nero with my windows xp I can burn a dvd but it only plays back in the comp and not other devices why is this
if you are burning a movie that is a .avi file or .mpg file, it will have to be converted before being burned. your computer will read files off disc that most dvd players will not. i personally use vso to divx to convert my movie file, then i use nero to burn. i think vso is still available on afterdawn, and it is freeware. works great.
